It's Saturday night. Hubby is out of town in Michigan until Monday. The house is clean and Brock is in bed sleeping...and I'm having a nice adult beverage...Malibu and Pineapple Orange Juice...delicious. I've missed all of my Rat-Terrier.com friends. I just finished my first class since going back to school and the next one doesn't start until August. Work is slow but it's work so I can't complain. The family is wonderful... :-) |

I love those evenings Errica!! Don't worry, those evenings are only as few and far between as YOU allow them to be. I have a rule in my house, on Saturday evening after dinner, it's MOMMY time. If I want to sit in a bubble bath with a nice adult treat and a book, then I can. If I want to hang with everyone and watch a movie then I can....either way it's MY time.
Of course I'm pretty used to having friday or saturday night w/o hubby b/c of the fishing and hunting he loves so good. If he's not actually doing it, he's in the garage getting things ready or he's up the road at his fishing/hunting buddies house. This works REALLY well for us, especially since we work together everyday, gives us each some away time!! |

I would have one of those evenings again tonight but I have A LOT of cleaning left to do before the In-Laws get here on Thursday. Brock is my shadow and I get quite a bit done even with him clinging to me but not as much as I could before. So, I'm behind...but that's ok. I'll get some done tonight and thes rest done in the next few days. |
