Dumb question: Lucy woke me up twice last night to go out, which she NEVER does.  Plus she's been wanting out countless times yesterday and today.  She had a catheter in on Sunday when she had that foxtail removed from her nose.  Could she still be feeling the effects of that, or is it a UTI?

UTI's are very common after having a catheter.. I would see if you can run a urine sample to the vet and at least have it checked out.

A catheter causes irritation, depending on how long it was in. It can cause a Urinary tract infection. Do you know if they lubricated it before insertion?

that's what I thought...told you it was a dumb question. it's too late to have her checked today, but I'll have to get her in tomorrow.

not a clue...it was the e-vet, not my regular vet, so who knows.  it was in for at least a 3 hrs (just a guess)...they had to take it out when I went to pick her up.
