When Alice is super happy she rolls all around on her back. It is so funny. Do your ratties do the back dance?? She wiggles and rolls or will just lay there with her legs straight up!!

The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too

Luckily I knew what rigamortis meant!! She is in her glory when she does the back dance!!

Tracey is so tiny you wouldn't be able to tell the back from the front anyways...

That's too funny. Vinnie does scratch his back sometimes ... but ... God forbid he gets dirty ... so he does it on the area rug under the coffee table in the living room or in one of the bedrooms that has carpeting. He doesn't like the hardwood floors ... but I DO hahaha

Max likes to do "Wiggle Worm"  in the house  on the rugs.   I stratch his back.  He loves it.

He will also roll in the grass outside, down the hill once in awhile.

At least it isn't that place right below the tail

And, sorry, but there are no video/photos of me doing the back roll. I'm NOT that kind of girl

Bob likes to roll around on his back on one of his toy carcasses in the living room. I guess this is his version of wallowing on road kill. When he was little he would sleep on his back with his legs stiff and sticking straight up in the air.

Dixie is to fat to do that she would just roll on over. She gets right in front of my feet and wants me to scratch her back for her, she will sit for hours letting me sratch her back, she gets that "oohh that feels soooooo gggoooooooodddd look on her fave. You know the one with the eyes half to fully closed nose in the air ears back and the body stretched as far as she can reach.

Life is like a jar of Jalapenos what do you today could burn your butt tomorrow.

I'm very familiar with that look. If you stop scratching Bob before he is ready, he will just put his head or his butt back under your hand.

Ernie sniffs the ground, must be a critter that left a mark or is under the ground, who knows. He has to roll on it.
He tried that after a bath on Sunday. You should have seen his face when I yelled "NOOOOO" At least be clean for the day. LOL!

Thanks Vicki! That was the picture from Ratbone actually. I just train him to learn how to sit recently. He still won't sit unless there is treat dangling in front of his nose. LOL

Molly and Lucy both do that. Molly in the shade to cool off. Lucy, mostly just to be silly and get tummy rubs...she loves to wiggle around on her back with one of her stuffed animals in her mouth.
