I just got my first rat terrier about a week ago.  She was 6 weeks old when we got her.  She is adjusting to our lifestyle very well.  She does amazing with our kids!  My husband surprised me with her because I wanted a smaller dog to keep me company when he works nights.  He will be on nights now through the end of November.  Puppy is doing very well with house training and has only had 3 accidents in the last week!  Of course I take her outside a lot!!  We are still trying to work out a name for her.  I have thought of several but think I am getting close.  My latest thought is to name her "Minnie" because my husband is a K-9 deputy and his partners name is "Mickey".  I thought it would be cute.  She was 2 and a half pounds at 6 weeks so does anyone know how big she will get?  Anyone with advice on posting pictures also that would be a great help!!  Thanks so much!!

Welcome! you might want to make sure that the .jpg on pic file name is in lower case...it won't show up otherwise.

Sometimes if you log out then back in the avatar magically appears.Really try it. If you resized to post an avatar then you should be all set to post pics in the photo forums. Oh yeah and WELCOME!

hmmmm I went in and looked and all my pics are jpg but they are capital letters. Not sure how to change them to lower case. I know I use my paint program to change photos from bpm to jpg but only upper case is available. Any ideas???
