I'm sorry if this is a repost, I tried doing a few searches but didn't come up with any results...

Kenzie licks a lot. She does it mostly right before she sleeps or if someone wakes her up and then she goes back to sleep. It really doesn't matter what, she licks everything, herself, her bed, my blankets. She licks to the point of the object being wet. The only thing she doesn't really lick excessivly is me or my fiance. If it's not a problem I'm ok with it, but I'm nervous it might be a problem. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions?

I have a dog that will do that sometimes. I usually just get his attention with an uh-uh sounds and he stops.

one of my ratties, Lucy, does that...she has to lick everyone and everthing. like gwacie, I try to distract Lucy...it usually works.

if she's licking one certain spot on herself, that could mean that that area is sore/hurting, though, so keep an eye on her. but it can also be a way of acting out boredom or frustration...it's hard to tell.
