This happened to our TFT.  Her puppy teeth didn't come out when they should have and she had two rows of teeth, we called her piranha puppy.  We ended up having to have her puppy teeth pulled.  This left her with an underbite.  The vet mentioned braces for dogs!  I would have your pup evaluated by your vet.

Button has a severe underbite.  Her lower teeth stick out about ¼" farther than her uppers.  Some of her teeth did not come in straight either.  One tooth even pokes her upper lip up a bit.  But she DID lose all her puppy teeth just fine.  She just has a bad bite most likely to questionable parentage.  Vet has cleaned her teeth twice and has  never mentioned braces for dogs to me.

Sounds like an underbite. Mitzy has this (like Button probably due to bad breeding) but it's rather cute. She also had a retained baby tooth, the vet pulled it when she was spayed. Otherwise it could have caused damage to her adult tooth or caused a problem when she chewed.

Yup, Jack has an underbite too. (What doesn't he have)   It should be fine and very rarely, unless severe, does it cause any problems.

Molly has one big tooth where there should be 2 in the front. Her baby tooth was like that too, so I'm guessing that for whatever reason, the roots of those 2 teeth fused together and made one weird looking tooth. It has made the lower teeth move a bit to adjust to the bite better, but what can you do?

wow! that is a pretty big percentage of cases just right here! you have to wonder how many breeders just ignore the FAULT and breed anyway!? it is suppose to be a DEAL breaker for choose'n a pup! you can't show "um this way ....or for that matter ....most AKC dogs in general! Interesting ha?
