laying out in the sunshine soaking up all the sun and heat you can.

Taffy will get outside and after the potty, running and playing, she will stretch out for a sun bath!!

Pixie does this all the time. She will even jump up onto the swing in the back yard.

It's funny to look out and see a dog swinging in the sun LOL.

She will spend hours just warming herself, but Skittles will have NOTHING to do with it.

Oh yeah, Jager loves to lay in the sun. She plops herself right down on the grass and just sprawls out. She is all black so I don't know how she doesn't get hot!

I have a couple of sunbathers too...Molly will be INSISTING to go outside even though she had just been out within the last 1/2 hr and when you finally let her out, she walks to the edge of the deck and lays down in the sun. Lucy likes to sun too, but not nearly as much as Molly. It seems like all of my black dogs have absolutely lived to lay in the sun (they could never get enough), while my lighter colored dogs could take it or leave it...strange, huh?

Ripley insists upon going out onto the back porch to sleep in the *black* lawnchair! On the hottest days we end up arguing because he scratches and scratches at the back door and I keep telling him No! It's just too hot! He ends up curling up all dejected at the door until I give in. Then it's out and up into the chair to stretch out in the sun!

Hendryx will find a nice spot in the sun and sunbathe outside. If it's too hot for him, he'll find a nice sun spot inside the air conditioned house and just lie down in the spot until somebody trips over him.

His name is Hendryx! He's a rat terrier! OK!
