I hope everyone has a Happy Tuesday!

I was awakened this morning by a warm, heavy little body panting in my ear. Taffy needed to go outside potty. It is cook here this morning 51 degrees. Aka drug himself out from under the covers and went outside potty too. When he hit the doorway and felt the chill, he almost turned back around!

I have never seen a dog potty as fast as he did. Taffy was a bit quick this morning also. Now we are all back inside and they are holed up together in one crate. Taffy snoring and Aka making some dream bark sounds. I'm the one who couldn't get back to sleep. So I've been up, reading, writing but not doing Arithmetic!

Now I suppose I should move on to something that will go toward getting the house straighened up, and projects done.

But wait, is that a yawn I feel coming  on? hmm perhaps under the covers for just 5 more minutes!

Once I awaken in the mornings... I may as wel get up because I can never go back to sleep. My dogs are very used to waking up at 4:45 a.m.... so even on weekends that schedule doesn't change. (They haven't figured out that on weekends we can sleep later! LOL).
Good Tuesday morning everyone!

Happy Tuesday, which is really like Monday to me, because I took the day off from work yesterday.

Early morning potty trips?  Yep---same here.  I think I pretty much can sleep-walk my way to the door and back now, though.

It's easy Nora - when one of them pops their little head out from under the covers - shove them back down under there!   They'll get all warm and cozy and fall back asleep!

5am here too. I've tried the week-end demand of "lay down" when I see a head popping up. His little whine will continue till I get up. The saying "It's just not worth it" applies here. LOL! I get up and get the potty and eating task done and race him back to bed. Lift the covers and were good for a little more snuggle sleep time.
Have a good Tuesday Morning everyone.

Good Morning!! I must be the lucky one because my dogs are Sleepers!! We wake them up at 6am during the week, they drag themselves outside looking miserable go potty and RUN back up to bed. We stay awake and they sleep. On the weekends I drag them out around 9am and they go back up to bed then too, usually they roll down around 11am. Unreal.

The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too

I never get to sleep in past 6:00... and Bailey wakes up immediately looking for that stupid air kong of his and won't go outside without it. Gosh he's so spoiled rotten. So if it's not raining, the other dogs wander around outside (they are much older than Bailey) while Bailey and I play fetch for about 15 minutes... often in the back yard where the security light shines.

Good Tuesday morning crew!

I have the same early morning problem. The Peanut starts screaming (literally) his head off to be let out around 6:30am. I've tried ignoring him but he doesn't stop. He is crated and holds it so I know he could just wait another HALF HOUR before starting the fracas but he's on a schedule, important puppy things to do. He's only just turned 1 this month. All the older dogs will sleep in. I told hubby that if we had them in the bedroom I could 'force' the Nutter to hush for a while longer but he just laughed at me like it was a crazy idea.

Now Zippi, on the other hand, can sleep for days. One of the luxuries of being 12years old I guess.

I was awoke at 05:09 this morning By Dixie barking, so out of a dead sleep I jumped out of bed to see what she was barking at, she just had to go pee. My oldest son just opened his door let her out of his room, and then went back to sleep. So I let Dixie out, went to my sons room woke him up and called himto the back door, wehen he got there I told him o.k. now you can go back to sleep. He just shrugged his shoulders like i have lost my mind (he's 11). I will explain to him this afternoon.

For those that didn't get. He could of just got up and let her outside then went back to sleep. instead of just letting her out of his room. he only had to walk about 15 feet extra.

Yeah I forgot to telll you my alarm goea off at 5:20 in the morning, so that's why I was irrritated this morning, I had at least 10 more minutes of sleep to get in. Plus there isn't much telling how long she had been out of his room. Knowing her not very long.

yes she barks to wake us up to let her out when we are sleeping. Dixie likes it outside more then inside she she has a bed inside and outside. yes she is spoiled rotten.

Life is like a jar of Jalapenos what do you today could burn your butt tomorrow.

You guys are killing me. If they boys got up at 6 I would die!!! I am lucky to have 2 lazy boys that will sleep until I get up. Slept until 9:45 on Mother's Day, way late for me, and the boys never even flinched when hubby got up early. I had to drag them downstairs and outside, LOL.

Good morning/afternoon almost. I'm one of the LUCKY ones. Noodles waits till I'm really up before she gets up.. If I get early to pee or answer the phone (5:30 am call each morn) she just snuggles up to one of the cats and goes back to sleep. So if by chance I 've been up late and don't roll out of bed till 10 or 11 she sleeps. Thank Goodness!!!

There is no joy greater than being owned by a Rattie!!
