Hi, I'm Iris and my dog name is Joey, he is 2 years old. I have him sinces he was 3 weeks. He the love of my life but I guess I let him get his ways all the time that know I have a seroius problem with him. He is very agressive and bites. When he has something and we try to take from him,or when he pits on something he will get agreesive to the point of jumping and bite. He bit my daugther badly. I am in my last draw because now we have a baby (my grandson) and we are affraid of what he may do. Does anyone has any idea how this can stop or do you think I should give him away?

Giving Joey away just passes on the problem but does not fix it. A shelter will immediately put him to sleep if he is known to be a biter. If you love this animal and want to give him a life, I believe at this point you really need to hire a professional trainer to teach YOU how to teach Joey. It's usually the people that need retraining first since we often do things that encourage bad behavior in our pets. If you are willing to do some serious work, you could possibly fix this problem but it will take time and effort and consistency on your part. First things first, do not let this dog near children right now at all. Too risky. I am in no way a good enough trainer to help you but I do know that Joey has to learn who is really in charge. Right now Joey thinks he is in charge.
