Janet Evanovich's next book in the Stephanie Plum series comes out on June 17! I'm already on hold for it at our library, number 30 on the list of 147 people waiting. Her website www.evanovich.com has 3 excerpts from the book posted.  Maybe I need to get the last book, Mean Lean Thirteen and re-read it to refresh my memory of where we left off with our heroine.

I started reading the first excerpt and, as usual, Lula is my girl! I think I'll use this quote from her the next time I go to the doctor to check my cholesterol.
"I gotta clog my arteries on account of otherwise the blood rushes around too fast and I might get a dizzy spell."
Sounds reasonable to me!  |

| I even got my hubby hooked on this series - had the recorded version playing on a trip and he found he really enjoyed them! |

This series is also one of the very few books I buy the day it comes out! I read "Plum Lucky" on the plane to Chattanooga .. it was really cute and a quick read. I love Diesel. |

| ok, tell me a little but about these....I know I may get mroe than im asking for...but I am trying to figure out if these would be good books for me to read! ( I am not a huge reader, but really enjoy a GOOD BOOK!!) |

Mary, you will love them. They have great characters. Good plot lines, and they are laugh out loud funny!!! Start with the first one. 'One for the Money'. You've got some catchin' up to do!!

 !! I just signed up for it, so I'm ot surprized I'm so far back. Last time I signed up late too, I was in he 400's! It really doesn't take long.

| Thinking of this quote My grandma, blees her soul, went to the DR and told her she would have to have surgery she had a clogged artery, she looked at him and very seriously said first thing what is an artery. The dr told her what it was. The she looked at him puzzled and said well Dr I think your a quack because if you unclog my artery then I will bleed to death I think I need a second opinion. why don't you just the the clog there and find out what wrong with my heart. Yes my grandma had 14 kids in her family and was raised on a farm in north east texas, and then moved to Oklahoma where the nearest town was about a days horse ride away. so she was a little behind the times. She died in 1992 from a heart attack, or the Dr unplugged her heart we don't which. lol |
