Here's the email I received regarding the Iowa puppies' mama:
Mom came in emergency clinic having trouble giving birth. The owners had all of $20 and no idea how to properly take care of her and puppies. She had 6 puppies good thing we got her because they really would not have been able to care for all these kids. She is a great mom but tired of them. They are now 8 weeks old. We are waiting a few more weeks to get them spayed and neutered. I have two in my house, Winnie and Wilford. Wilford still does not have any testacies (at least I do not see any). He is only about a palm full.

Mylie is a 4 year old Rat Terrier that is an absolute doll. She came into rescue very pregnant and had 6 puppies: three male and three female. Mylie has been a wonderful mother! Watch for her puppies coming available for adoption. She loves everyone - dogs, cats, kids, and especially laps to sit in. She is a very well mannered dog and she know basic commands.
