ok, so maybe not MISERABLE...but pretty bad!

I got two cavities filled yesterday ....I have NO dentist issues.  I dont love it, but I am a trooper, never need laughing gas or anything....just get it done and over with.

I feel like such a baby this morning.  I woke up all throughout the night and my cheecks, gums, jaws are SORE....this has never happened before....I HATE it....it hurts when I talk, chew, etc....

Not to mention that my left eye feels like it has a black eye....my allergies are SO BAD that it feels bruised from me itching it and its swollen also!

needless to say I am NOT at work feeling like this...but I have a meeting at 2pm....BLAH...im gonna have to start getting ready shortly...hopefully a shower will make me feel a little better!

Thanks for letting me WHINE!!!

I can't even stand getting my teeth cleaned. I am such a wimp when it comes to going to the dentist. That does sound like an awful lot of pain for getting cavities filled though. Maybe you should call the dentist?

Mary, I feel as though I've spent half of my life in a dentist's chair... and I'm STILL not used to it.
I'm in the process right now of having $4,000 worth of work done (crowns, a partial, a replacement bridge...) and I've been having to go to the dentist once a week for the past month for impressions, etc. NOT fun and NOT cheap! I'm fortunate to have dental insurance through my work... but it does look to me like they could come up with some better way to deaden the area they are working on other than those awful shots! Last week I had 5 shots in one area and my mouth was so sore the next morning I could hardly open my mouth (hubby was pleased... LOL).
So... all of this to day.... I know how you feel (although that's probably not helping you much right now...)
*hugs*
