Here's a pic of the bush in my yard,  it is so big and beautiful, hope these pics do it justice.  Is it an Azalea (sp?)    I know it needs some trimming but I don't know much about that either.

MIght be a Wygelia. As far as trimming goes, I think that is a matter of personal preference. I like to keep mine trimmed neatly. My Mom lets hers grow wild and free. It's beautiful whatever it is.

I believe that is an azalea. I have some but mine did not even bloom this year because the weather was so screwy. If it is azalea, wait until all the blooms fall off this year and you can trim it back and shape it up. You won't have as many blooms next year but the following year should be spectacular.

Thanks Kim, I did a search on Azalea's and that what it said about trimming too. I will attempt to shape it up a bit after it's done blooming this year.

That is a gorgeous Azalea in all its glory. Personally, I love the wild look
whatever you decide, she's stunning! And the pics are fantastic!

Thanks, Ladyfern maybe I will keep the wild look, it's taller than me and I know nothing about trimming it so it will probably stay the way it is.
