Ok, I know that the talented Jan will be bringing some doggie bling, but what about poor untalented souls?  What type of items should we bring?  All rattie items, doggie items, how much is too much, how much is just being cheap????  I just started thinking about packing.  That means the actual pack will be Friday.  I'm a bit of a procrastinator, but I don't want to be slack on the donation item.  Any suggestions?

Just wander through a pet store or pet dept in any store.  Any price range is OK.  Nobody will judge what people bring.  I picked a real cute doggie food bowl and a coffee mug for owners.  I think they'll get some bids.  Let what kinds of things you would buy for yourself and your own fur kids be your guide when choosing.   That's the very kind of stuff others will be willing to bid on, too.  Remember, it is a raffle for Ratbones fundraising.  If YOU like something doggie, odds are others will, too.

Hey! I live close to Vidalia Ga. I'm donating a 10lb bag of Sweet Vidalia Onions. Fresh off the farm! LOL Hope someone likes 'em enough to buy some raffle tickets for them. From what I understand ANYTHING is appreciated.

I found some really cute ceramic dog bowls packaged as a set for food & water that were on the "mark down table" at Walgreen---they are adorable!  Also picked up a set of kitchen towels that have an embroidered dog bone and a doggie on them.

Hey---I LOVE vidalia onions!!!  That might be my first choice to bid on!

I'm getting so excited! I've got my bathtub filled with all the stuff that I have to pack up in the car on Fri morning. LOL My hubby says even though it's just me and him and Amos going, I may have to use the luggage rack on the top! lol

My husband loves Vidalia onions as well!  We eat them in everything when they are in season.  Hmm gonna need more Jamboree money.

Hey! You makin' fun of me?!!! LOL I just didn't have anywhere else to put my "packin' pile", that a certain, 4 legged critter wouldn't drag it all over the house!
Hey, and I bet you money that I'm not the only one that uses the bathtub for storage either. Fess up ya'll.

I'm a last minute packer so no tub required.  LOL.  That is the first I have heard someone use a tub. Whatever works.

Well, in my opinion its just wasted space! I take showers and our shower stall is separate from the whirlpool tub. There was a time when Hubby was in that tub every day to releive muscle spasms, but it's not in use right now, except as a pile place for my Jamboree stuff!
I do have a friend who uses her extra tub/shower as a place to hang her clothes cuz she doesn't have enough closet space. I just ASSUMED that every body did. lol
Yeah, I might be a red neck....

Kim,

So when the tub is full is it time for Jamboree?  If yes, fill it up fast I am ready to go.

I think we all have our little things we do that no one else does.  Hmmm wonder what mine is.

I like the bathtub idea - wouldn't work for us though. Our four legged people like to jump in and out just for fun.

I know I should have steered towards something different, but this is a really adorable bowl.  I couldn't resist, wish I could cuz it wasn't cheap at all!  Hey Kim, my hubby used to put his dirty clothes in the garden tub instead of the hamper.  He said they were too dirty for the hamper.  I put a stop to it because it was kind of an eye sore in an otherwise lovely tub! But, yea it's a wasted space.  Hardly ever gets used.
