This is the best French Toast you will EVER have!!!!! It is SO good! Here is what you will need:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CAUTION: THIS IS A BREAKFAST THAT NEEDS TO BE MADE THE NIGHT BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4 eggs that are slighly beaten                     -                    1/2 cup pwd.  sugar

1/3 cup honey                                 -                            4 oz. soft cream cheese

3/4 cup skim milk                                    -                            1/8 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 lb of CUBED french bread

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NIGHT BEFORE:

Cobine eggs, honey and milk in bowl

Cream pwd. sugar and cream cheese together

Cube French bread into 1" chunks

Usind a 9" square dish, Spray with PAM

Cover cottom of dish with HALF of bread cubes

Use rubber spatula and spread cream cheese mixture over

Top with remaining bread cubes

Pour egg/honey/milk mix over top, sprinkle w/ cinnamon

Cover w/ foil and put in fridge overnight

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NEXT MORNING

Bake COVERED for 30 min. in 350 degree oven

Uncover and backe for another 5 min.

Serve with fresh fruit and toasted almonds ( Optional)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE: IF YOU WANT THIS DISH TO BE MORE MOIST:

* Use 5 eggs and add a little more milk- Also, To make spreading the pwd. sugar ,cream cheese and cinnamon  mix easier, mix them and put the mix in a small Ziploc and snip the corner & pipe the mix ontop of the bread --- It is just easier! =D

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a great Sunday morning, Or a Holiday morning Breakfast. It tastes really good even though you need to make it the night before! It is SO DELICIOUS!

Sounds awesome, I wish my husband would eat cream cheese. DO you think I could cut this dish down? I would so love to try it, but don't have any one to make it for, but myself!

Yes....... You could probably cut it down....... I never have, ( Because my Mom, Dad and I eat it, and the leftovers are for my grandma, and for breakfast at wok for dad...) But, I am sure you could cut it down.

I think I am going to prepare this tonight to cook in the morning or prepare it tomorrow night to cook Saturday morning before we leave for the meet-up, I can't decide.

Do you put syrup on yours or is it good plain? Is it gooey? I can't wait to try it.

Depending on if you overdo the milk it can or may not be soggy. But if you don't over do the milk, it tastes REALLY good with any kind of syrup!

I made it. It was okay but not as good as I thought it would be. I guess I expected it to have more of a "french toast" taste to it and it didn't really taste like french toast at all to me. It was good, I guess it just wasn't what I was expecting.

I wonder what it would be like if you substituted the sour cream for the cream cheese?

It sounds delicious with the cream cheese, but the thought of adding sour cream just struck me....

The sour cream just keeps it moist ( I think)
