My big cook out is this Saturday and everyone is expecting my "famous" margarita's from last year.......well here's the problem....I used a bucket mix!!  (I know, cheap, bad, a whole lot of other adjectives, but they all LOVED it!!!) the problem is...............the mix is no longer available!!!  So I need a good recipe for Margarita's and Jello shooters...or anything else that I can make in a large batch with out going broke!

ok, when I had my housewarming I wanted something to make in bulk...at the liquor store the guy behind the counter suggested a HUGE thing of Fruit Punch KOOLAID and VODKA....BLAH...no thanks im not in college anymore....i wasnt going for the "as drunk as possible dont care how it tastes"
needless to say, I didnt take his advice....i made up my own punch and it was a HUGE hit!!!

Fruit juice concentrate (berry pineapple punch, apple berry punch, tropical strawberry, etc....whatever sounds good)
Vodka
Sprite
FROZEN mixed fruit or berries (when youre ready to serve)

I didnt measure at all...just to taste...it was so yummy and refreshing!!!!

Screaming Purple Jesus

ingredients:

1 30 gallon plastic container

Various types of fruit cut into bite size pieces:

Ginger Ale

Grape juice

Vodka

Everclear

put the pieces of fruit into the plastic container and add the ginger ale grape juice vodka and everclear. If you want you can make it the night before and the drink mixture will get into the pieces of fruit

I know this sounds weird but it's the BEST  "on the rocks" margarita, super easy,  and ALWAYS a HUGE HIT at parties...

1 12 oz. can of frozen limeade

fill 12 oz can w/ 7 up & add

1 Corona beer

1/2 to full  12 oz. can of tequila (I use 1/2 can and they are QUITE POTENT)

Mix all in pitcher to melt limeade and serve over ice

That recipe only makes a pitcher, but you could put it in a much larger container & it would still be pretty cheap!!!

Jello shooters are GREAT if you're going for cheap, easy, and good

I like Rum with Strawberry Jello; tequila with Lime or Lemon Jello; and vodka with Raspberry Jello = YUMMY. You can make all three for variety. You can get big quantities of those little plastic shot glasses at a party supply store

This is the WINNER.
1 12 oz can lime-aid
1 12 oz water
1 12 oz Tequila
1 12 oz beer
Use the lime-aid can for measuring.
Believe me, this is it, and I haven't found anyone that doesn't like it.
Let me know...
Cheaper then the ready made mix.
