To start looking for homes for my pups? I want to be able to find the best, most loving and safest home for them that I can. The pups are 2 weeks, almost, old. so my question is when is it too soon???

That's when they are old enough to be released to the buyer but good breeders have buyers lined up long before then.  I was talking to Mayfly's breeder for weeks before I actually picked her up at 9 weeks old.

I just got my rattie, Nora from a breeder when she was 8 weeks and the breeder seemed responsible--There was another buyer who knew her and was picking up one to actually work as a ratter.

My question is you said that most good breeders have the owners lined up before born--I think--

I wanted to see a pic and choose my girl, do you think that a reputable breeder can do that?  I know it is to late to second quess, and the breeder seemed to be doing it not just to make money--I also have access to her pedigree up to great grandfather--

I tood a change--looked at pups on line and when I saw nora, contacted her breeder who really seemed good, cause she has a horse farm and only does a couple litters a year.  I got Nora at 8 weeks and we bonded right away.  Don't know if it is luck or fate, or if I actually could tell her nature from the picture--but I was sure she was the one---
