Worst Minnie Story
We have a fireplace in our bedroom that is elevated about 6 inches off the ground. The 'base' around the fireplace is carpeted. We've heard 'noises' inside of the base from time to time and figure it must be a mouse.
A few months ago Minnie heard this noise to and it became her focus. We'd be sitting on our bed at night watching tv and Minnie would just STARE at the fireplace for EVER! Nothing we could do would distract her from this staring contest with the fireplace.
One morning, my husband left the room for ONE OR TWO MINUTES and when he came back she had chewed a giant hole in the carpet and started to chew through the fireplace mantle ... My husband was NOT HAPPY!!!
Okay, so that was NOT the right thing to do ... but it's old crappy carpet anyway and I stuck a plant in front of the hole ...
Minnie is NO LONGER interested in that spot ... but I have NO DOUBT something else will attract her obsession, er attention ...
