OK, following is the recipe for my slow cooked broccoli.  This dish is super tasty and is cooked in your crock pot....which frees oven space up on a busy holiday.  Great hot dish to take somewhere if you aren't doin' all the cookin'!

Slow Cooked Broccoli

2 pkgs (10 oz) frozen chopped broccoli

1 can cream of celery soup (undiluted)

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup chopped onion

1/2 tsp Worchestershire sauce

1/4 tsp pepper

1 sleeve of crackers (I use Club or Townhouse---but whatever you like)

2 TBL butter or margarine.

Spray your crockpot with Pam and set aside.  In a large bowl, combine broccoli, soup, cheese, onion, worcherstershire, and pepper.  Mix well.  Pour into your crockpot.  Crush your sleeve of crackers and spread over top of broccoli in crockpot.  Dot with butter.  Put your lid on.  Set to low for 2 1/2-3 hours---should be bubbly around the edges.  Just before serving sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of cheese and put lid back on crockpot for 10 minutes....just until cheese melts.

Makes 8-10 servings.

AWESOME AND EASY!  ENJOY!

Mmmmmm. Sounds good. I sold my slow cooker when I moved last time. I guess I could just bake this in a conventional oven though. Will have to try it!

It really is! I wasn't a broccoli fan when I was little, but now, I LOVE it!
