Okay, time to cure the winter doldrums with a photo contest! RATTIES ENJOY WINTER. Take a photo of your Rattie(s) enjoying the winter season. This can be a picture of your Rattie(s) playing in th snow, lying by a fire, dressed in warm clothing, or for those in warmer climates, sunning themselves and making all the cold weather Rattie's jealous. Or, does you Rattie take a vacation to the tropics in the winter to get a break from the cold? Anything that shows how your Rattie enjoys the season!
Rules (yeah, we gotta have a few)
- Photos must be authentic. No photoshopped fake settings. Photoshopping may be used to touchup or crop your photo, but no graphics and no scenes or other items inserted into the photo by computer magic.
- One entry per Rattie, per member. If you own mulitple Ratties, you may enter each in a photo separately, or all together in one photo. If you share your Rattie with a spouse or significant other, who is also a member, each of you may enter your pup(s) once.
- Entries must be posted to the entry thread by January 21.
- Voting will take place on January 22 and 23 by PM'ing me (Katie'sMom).
- You may vote for three entries (since it's always hard to pick just one). The top three entries will be featured in a banner.
- Winners are chosen based on originality, creativity and just plain cuteness. You do not have to be a great photographer or have an expensive camera to win. Everyone who is a member and has a Rattie is eligible to win!

When you own a Rattie....you KNOW you are in your right mind 
THE MEANING OF RESCUE
Now that I'm home, bathed, settled and fed,
All nicely tucked in my warm new bed.
I'd like to open my baggage
Lest I forget,
There is so much to carry -
So much to regret.
Hmm... Yes there it is, right on the top
Let's unpack Loneliness, Heartache and Loss,
And there by my leash hides Fear and Shame.
As I look on these things I tried so hard to leave -
I still have to unpack my baggage called Pain.
I loved them, the others, the ones who left me,
But I wasn't good enough - for they didn't want me.
Will you add to my baggage?
Will you help me unpack?
Or will you just look at my things -
And take me right back?
Do you have the time to help me unpack?
To put away my baggage,
To never repack?
I pray that you do - I'm so tired you see,
But I do come with baggage -
Will you still want me?

| Click on the "add reply" button on the top left...scroll down to where it says msg attachments, click on the browse button & pick what pictures you want to add. Hope this helps. |

If you don't have IE7 sometimes there's a problem posting on this particular forum. If you can't get it to post, email to me and I will post for you.
