I'm Amber. My husband and I have been looking to adopt a male or female rattie for about 5-6 months now we havn't really had any luck. About a year or so ago we baught a Teacup Rattie for $150. We wondered why she was so cheap but never asked we didn't care a week later she died of kidney problems so there was are answer!!!!! We were crushed!  . I live in Stonington IL. So if anyone knows of any around this area that is great with kids please let me know. Also age is not a problem!

Be sure to check out Ratbonerescues.com, Petfinder.com and RatterrierresQ.com.  There are sooooo many ratties all over the country needing homes.  Be sure to check the shelters in neighboring towns, too.   I found my little Zipper at Petfinder.com.  She was 5.5 hrs away in a kill shelter  near Texarkana.  I'm sure glad I drove over and got her.  We just love her to death and so does Button (the one in my avatar).
