I am still learning about it, and getting used to it..         Best thing is the furries are so much more satisfied,  meaning that they are on the bed with me..   They didn't like me being on the desktop as much as I was,  they would paw at me, pry their heads under my hands so that I would pet them,  jump into the puter chair to keep me from sitting in it,   This way, they are in the bed with me,  touching me,  I am proped up with pillows, puter is on a pillow in my lap. and they are all with me on the bed..                  I am way comfy and they are happier.   As long as they are touching me in some way, they are okay.

And I have my new TV on..   I have been wanting a TV for my bedroom for a while..     I may spend my whole Christmas break in bed!

Yep... sounds good to me. So glad you are having fun with your new goodies. Especially that the furbabies can be in bed with you. They know you are doing something, but think you are watching tv too... so you are okay. Any way it goes, just glad you are happy, I can even feel it from your post.

I love my laptop too.  Be careful, though, that you don't cover the vents on the bottom and make it over heat.  I have a piece of counter top about 2 feet x 1.5 feet.  I have to put mine on a hard surface or it gets hot.  I've lost one hard drive already and don't want to go thru that again.  A can of compressed air is good for getting the dust out too.

Definitely get it off the pillow, it will over heat and burn up. It has vents on the bottom and you should always make sure you have it on a surface that does not block the air flow.

What I was thinking of for the bed is one of those lap tables.. I will look for one of those..
we have dust off in the basement.
I am so new to this laptop business.

Yeah Jeff, Kinda.

Nora, I am gonna check the thrift stores etc for cages. those things are expensive and I need 3 of them.
Plus Christmas break is gonna be work on the dogs time too.

I love my latptop, i donno how I ever lived without one. My laptops air vents are on the side so i can put it on pillows. My mom's is older and hers are on the bottom. I bet since its new the air vent is on the side like mine.

Jules, my vents on on the bottom of this one, the sides are full of USb ports, CD/DVD player etc.
the best thing is the dogs are happier, the one chair I have in the living room is big enough for all of us and the laptop is on the big footstool ...

I know the dogs would always stare at me sad when I was on my desktop. Now I can sit on the couch with them and go online, it's nice.

Yeah Jules, thats the main thing, I got that same look from my dogs.. If I got up out of the desk chair,Sassy would jump into it to keep me from sitting down again.
Now they can surround me and I can still be on the puter. Seems to satisify them.
