So for today, into the weekend it is just Kasey, Molly and myself... Kasey and I ran to the store a short time ago and well we were having a bad time. He was cranky and which was making me cranky but ok... so I get him so Christmas cookies to cheer him up because if he is not happy, I am not happy! LOL Now he has his cookies and things are fine. We go to check out and I give the cookies to the girl to scan and asked for them back so I can give them back to Kasey as we always do at this same store. My daughter works there and I know all the works that work there. But she just puts them in the bag as if she did not hear me so I did not say anything. Well Kasey saw and started crying. So the girl turns to the bag boy and says "oh just give him the frickin cookies"... I was shocked that she said that and not quiet either!! Then Kasey asked if he can have one, he wanted me to open it and give him a cookie and then the girl says "Hey, I gave you the cookies now it is up to your mom to let you have one"... By this point I am furious!!!! I was so mad I could not think of anything to say that would not cause a scene which I did not want because I don't want to cause problems for my daughter. So I just give her a look and say "excuse me'???... Oh I was so mad!! How rude!!! It still makes me mad!

Some people just shouldn't be in customer service, for all that matter not allowed out in public, and your checkout girl seems to fit into that catagory.

That was so rude. You should have walked away and walked up to a manager and pointed at her while standing with the manager. Rude Rude Rude! I see a lot of ppl around here that work who just could careless about the customers. Every time I go in the petco here I leave so furious. One time I asked a women for crickets and she goes "a guy is working in the back of the store ask him, he might be on break, so he should be back in 15 minutes". How lazy was she! This wasn't a kid either she was an middle aged adult. Then another time i got checked out by a guy who never said Hi just talked to his employee about playing drinking games the whole night before. i hate going in there, I always leave so mad. I wrote the company a nice long letter all about it =D

Goodness Donna! I know it had to be hard to hold back. But atleast you did not lower yourself to her. Keep in mind, what goes around, comes around.

Yes you are right!!! I also had Kasey with me that hears, sees and is aware of everything that goes on so I would not have done the right thing for him had I tore into her like I would have love to!!! I do have to think about him, I would be feeling really bad had he saw me go at her. So I am pleased that I did not now that I have had time to think about it.

Gah. That's so stupid. What a very unholiday way to behave. Even beyond that. Working in a situation like that...people need to not be rude! Even beyond the Christmas season.
