I figure you guys can only take my gross stuff in small amounts LOL...  My Sandy stands between my legs whenever I go to the bathroom.  I don't know if she's guarding me or what.... LOL  Or what she thinks she's guarding me from LOL.... but she'll do the same thing if I'm standing somewhere - she will come over and lean up against my leg or foot or whatever...

I have the weirdest dogs ever LOL

Mine have to be right with me whenever, too. Mayfly is my "bathroom buddy".
Just shows how much these little dogs love their people and how involved they are in everything we do!

When I go into the bathroom, if I slightly close the door, Daisy and Licorice will scratch at the door until they can slide through!!!

Button has always done that, too. LOL She'll stand up on my knees for pets, even! Zipper just stands beside Button curious and usually just walks out the door.

Add me to the list of no longer potties alone!!
Aka has to be in the bathroom with me. He will put his front paws on my knee for some scratches behind his ears and then if he thinks I'm not going fast enough he does this funny little half jump with his front legs and this deep low gravely bark. And then he has to dash past me to watch the water when I flush! goofiest dog!!

Anytime Amos gets a chance to follow me in the bathroom, he sits with his head on my knee. As soon as I flush the toilet, he sticks his head in there and gets a drink! Grossssss!

Sorry! Can't add Rowdy to this list! Sam is my bathroom buddy and has always been. If I close her out, she lays outside the door and cries. She usually just folows me in and lays on the bathmat.
I used to have a cat who would take advantage of the bathroom time to climb on your lap and be petted. Talk about feeling a little uncomfortable!!

It must be a rattie thing because Vino does this as well, and I have noticed Mocha doing it since she's been with us. VIno will open the door and barge in if I have it closed. He can't stand it when I am in the bathroom alone.

jackson does this allllll the time to me, probably because i let him follow me! he'll hang out, sniff around, stare at me, and sometimes he likes to be picked up and petted too. the cats i've had throughout life have done the same thing...guess i'm used to it, lol.

Yep, same here. Shadow does this. When he hears the water hit the toilet water he runs to the shower and licks the shower floor... then after he figures it isn't wet he comes back and stands up with his paws on my knees wanting to be picked up. Funny fellow.

I have a friend on another forum that says her dogs are so bad about this that she has to warn all guests to her house to really shut the door completely!  If it's only cracked, her dogs jump on it & push it wide open to get inside.  Not a crisis in most homes, but in hers, the bathroom is in plain view of the folks seated in the livingroom!!!!    She says it has caused a few embarrasing moments in the past.

Potty... alone? Hmmm... never heard of it! At least not in over 7 years. I finally got Blaze to realize that if I am in the bathroom... I cannot concentrate (nor do I want to) on things like what so-n-so did at school today (or whatever else!). THEN- we got Tucker and now he has to sit there and stare me down while I go to the bathroom. If I try shutting him out, he will sit at the door and cry until someone opens the door for him to see me. NOW- if he is asleep in bed with Brad and I quietly sneak out of bed with out waking him, well, then I get to go by myself!

I am on the list of not being able to potty alone. I also can't shower alone. I have a rattie at each end of the shower curtain poking their heads in to see if they can help. When I'm on the toliet I have one between my legs and one sitting next to the toliet. Now my two won't barge in on anyone else, just me.

Niko HAS to be in the bathroom with me...for toilet time, or makeup and getting ready for work time...but especially when I'm taking a shower. He throws a fit outside if he hears the water running!

My Max is the same way.  Its dosen't matter what  I'm doing in there, he has got to be apart of it.  In fact we even have a doggie bed in  there cuz he likes to curl up and go to sleep while I take my nighly bath.  I'm so used to it I get weirded out if  I'm alone!
