Ratbone’s Founder, Caroline, just got a new fosterRat; "Good Golly Miss Molly". She was in a kill shelter in Tenessee, and had only 24 hours before she was to be put to death. She was pregnant, though no one had any idea how close to term she really was. Our wonderful volunteer Lynn H pulled her (and the 4 other Ratties she was dumped with) and took her to a vet until transport could be arranged. The very next night Molly delivered 5 beautiful babies!! There are 3 males and 2 females. Four are blue & white (3 male, 1 female), and one is black & white (a female). They will be 1 week old tonight (Halloween night). We are asking for donations from the generous people of Rat-Terrier.Com. All funds received will be put toward the cost of future spay/neuters for these darling babies. Ratbone is requesting a donation of $50 for each puppy. Anyone who sponsors a puppy will have the fun of choosing the name of that puppy. Oh what a story!! They are beautiful, all of them! I am sure the pups will find homes quick, I hope the adults do too.

Great story, they are adorable!!! I am sure the babies will go to good homes too and also the mom and dad(s) can too along with the others that were with them. What a shame to drop off so many at the same time.

They are terribly thin!! It's probably a GOOD thing I ended up not taking one of them because I probably would not have been able to part with it. Sue -- I don't do paypal. Is there somewhere I can send a check? You can pm me this information rather than post it publicly if you want. Thanks for all you do!

Oh mercy these babies were born on my Birthday... Same thing happened to my Punkin, a Ratbones dog.. she was pulled within 48 hours of delivering a litter...
