Oh! This is a REALLY yummy Pumpkin Pie that my Great-Grandmother made.....
It makes 2 - 9" pies and should have about 8 slices each....... O.k.. You will need: .....................................................................
2 1/4 cups of Pumpkin ( Bought at just a grocery store)
1 1/2 cups of evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 teasp. salt
3 eggs
1 1/2 tables. margarine
1/4 teasp. nutmeg

1. Mix salt, sugar and spices together
2. Beat eggs and then add pumpkin, milk and margarine
3. Combine all ingredients together and pour half of the mixutre in one pie tin and the other half will be the second pie ( Duh!)
4. Bake @ 425 degrees for 35-40 min. or until you can poke the middle of the pie and the knife blade comes oput clean.
5. BAKE ON MIDDLE RACK OF OVEN! AND DO NOT PUT PIES ON A COOKIE SHEET! ( The sheet will get hot and cook the bottom un-evenly)
