but you also need to be under the covers with your cold nose finding any bit of exposed skin on your humans!!

She nestled so far under the covers last night, it was cold so I don't blame her, but how do they breathe under there???!!

No clue, but Nibbler will actually roll over so that the cover is completely surronding him, leaving me with very little blanket. And then he has to stretch out his neck and his tail, and his legs straight out so that he can take up as much room as possible with his little body

I have thought that many of times. We have had people come in our house and ask where Angel is, she is always engulfed by the blanket we keep on the couch for her.

But I would have to say she actually sleeps parallel to me, when she does sleep with me. She only sleeps with me when John is gone. He is in the navy so that is at least once a week!

OMG yes! Like he just can't believe that I would disturb his beauty sleep!
He also sighs when we throw a toy he's playing with across the room to play with him.

the best is after you get the big sigh and finally get comfortable they they have to stand up, under the covers, spin around and around and move and dig in the covers with their paws, spin somemore and then lay back down in a huff.  The whole world, or at least our bed, revolves around 9lbs.  I am jealous of Fred, he lays with us for the first 10 minutes then gets up and goes to his own bed. He is the only one who gets a good nights sleep.

lol the good thing is that once nibbler is settled (spinning, digging of course is required) he doesn't move until we wake him up in the morning, unless it's to potty or (in the case of this morning) throw up on the floor.

My dog does that too! Except he goes all the way to the back so that way he's completely 'secure' under the blanket. Nutty little dog! Then exactly at 6:40-7am each, no matter how late you last walked him the day before, he gets up, walks around in circles, and pouts until you giving him his morning walk!

Hendryx doesn't start to dig in bed until we stop playing with him after the lights are out. We roll over with our backs to him so he gets mad and starts to dig. Then he circles, then high gives a huff and scroonches his way under the quilt until he finds somebody's feet to lie across. Once, when my ankle was acting up and I was hoping that he'd lie across it, he pushed against Reeva's feet all week. Go figure.

His name is Hendryx! He's a rat terrier! OK!

So this morning John gets up at 5, uses the restroom and comes back with the baby. The only reason he came back to bed is because he doesn't have to work today, or else he would have been getting ready for work. So anyway he puts her on my side and we go back to sleep. When I wake up she is next to me on her back with all 4 paws sticking straight up in the air!  I thought that was the funniest thing to see..

It got cold one night when one of the kids decided to put the air conditioner on as high as it would go. I woke up to find Bob was not only under the covers, he was also inside my night shirt! We were skin to fur.
