I've managed to take a peak at a couple of them really quick. How cool!!! The first one with the border collie (I think) was great and very inventive |

| Ohhh, I love this, how clever for Haloween. I thought I read that it takes years to train the dogs for these kind of shows. |

It does take years... what's weird is that so often...as in agility.... you start out with verbal commands. As the dog progresses, the verbal commands are used less and less and then not at all. It's a process and it does take a long time. A command as simple as "sit"... you start out using the hand signal and the verbal command. As time passes, the verbal command is used less and less, and only the hand signal is used. I never say "sit" anymore... I just use the hand signal... same with "down" and "stand". Of course, I never expect to be at the level these dogs are at ! These dogs are awesome!! |

Donna... it has taken over a year of consistent training.... In agility, much more emphasis is placed on body language... In obedience, more verbal commands are used. |

| Nora, Ernie isn't the master of all training but he does very well with his tricks. He actually had the tricks down pat when he came to us. He can sit, down, sit pretty, dance and high five. What is fun too is that he will get into the down position when I use the hand down command. Usually I use that when I want him to be quiet. It seems to work. |
