So the other attorneys are taking their secretary's out to lunch and have invited me along  So I don't have to wait until 2:30 to eat lunch today! Good thing, 'cause today is one of my "starving" days!
Called my boss to tell him in case he called and my phone is off - which I always do in restaurants...
He said, "Oh, that's right. I got your thing, just forgot to give it to you this morning".  Uh-huh. |

Wow... I have the perfect come-back to your boss' comment, but will be nice and not post it here! Geez...
Good for you for turning your phone off in restaurants. I don't turn mine off because it's the # the nursing has for me and I need to have it on 99% of the time... but I HATE going to lunch with someone and we're sitting at the table and they stay on the phone the entire time. Talk about RUDE! |
