Got up to take a pain pill and "pit stop" The pain pills are keeping my discomfort in check. Lots of bloody drainage though, even through the packing.
Turns out that I had a fungus growing in that sinus cavity. No amount of antibiotic would have taken care of it. So, surgery was the right decision. He cleaned it all out and reopened my drainage holes. It was too thick to suction out or flush our, so had to be picked out, so surgery took a bit longer. Spur is removed.
I go back at 8:00 for him to check me -- honestly,insurance companies - wouldn't it have been easier for me to stay ovrnight. Hopefully some of this packing and splint will come out, but I don't know as I still have lots of drainage.
Don't know how I'll feel tomorrow after the visit -- I'll chek in when I can. Thanks for caring.

Well that doesn't soud like fun, but I'm sure you'll feel much better after you recover  It's good to hear from you and I'm happy your doing ok! Have fun with those pain pills!
