Hi there! I'm Miss Eadie's mom, a 3 month year old rattie. This is my first RT and I'm so in love with her. She's so active and loving! I'm getting a lot of laughs and every hour of sleep that I've lost has been worth it!

I've been reading all the postings for a few days and have learned a lot...it's really helped me deal with my Miss Eadie.

Wow! So many replies! Thanks! I know, she's adorable!

How I got her: I had never thought about having a Rat Terrier because I knew very little about this breed, and my sweet Cookie, who passed away 4 years ago, was a Cocker. But when I moved, my neighbour had a Rattie and BINGO (that's the doggie's name, by the way) I fell in love! After reading about the breed in the internet, the library and talking with my neighbour, I discovered a reputable breeder through the internet and contacted her. She told me the next litter would be in June, so I waited. Miss Eadie was born on June 20 (making her a Gemini)  It was pretty sweet because the breeder posted the puppies' photos on the internet until I could visit (only after they were 2 months old). There were 6 puppies, can you believe that? I chose my Miss Eadie just because I felt it was right. I looked at all the puppies straight in the eye--and I felt a strong connection to her. You guys know what I'm talking about...So, I waited until August 20 and went to pick her up. She ended up being the smallest in the litter - a miniature Rat Terrier, while her brother and sisters were mostly the standard size. Perfect for me who lives in an apartment!  That's my little story! I'll post some more pictures soon! Thank you all for the warm welcome!
