Ok... don't laugh at the big ole' t-shirt.... (I almost didn't post this). Am teaching the "back"command... a command I've been putting off teaching Bailey because it's not a terribly easy command to teach. We're in the second week of this. He's getting it, but we're a LONG way from where we've got to go!

Very impressive, Ms Nora and Mr Bailey!   I notice that he looked to you for assurance, and wasn't looking around at what was going on somewhere else-----very VERY good.  Give yourself a treat as well, Nora!

Bailey is SO smart.

Bella's father (Mr. T) is obsessed with the tennis ball and having you throw it for him to retrieve. But when he drops it at your feet, he stands RIGHT over it so that you can't pick it up sometimes. So he knows "back up". If he drops the ball and you say "back up" he will take 2 steps back and do it every time you say "back up" again.

Bailey backs up very well if he's in front of me....
It's backing up by my side that's so frustrating. That's why we're training next to the retainer wall... to help him back up STRAIGHT (the retainer wall keeps him from going anywhere with me on one side and the wall on the other). It's the best way to train.
But little dogs are TOUGH...and this is NOT a fun thing! Maybe in another two weeks we will have made noticeable progress... I hope so.

hahaha Pam.  That's the ONLY thing I have that even borders on "skinny".  But this video DOES make me look like a cow training a dog.  geez...  The baggy t-shirt doesn't help...
I'm not thin, but I'm not that FAT either!

You need to take a shopping trip and get some clothes that fit you better. I know baggy is comfy, but it also makes us look way bigger than we are. I've seen you in person and I know that you're not big.

The clothes I wear to work and "out" do fit me better... but when I'm working with dogs, I like to be comfy!  Plus... it's SO hot I can't stand being out with anything but loose clothing on.  Just didn't realize how bad it looked until I saw this video!

Next time hubby records me working with Bailey ... I'll  wear better fitting clothes!  I promise!

Loose is comfy - especially when it is hot and your are working with Bailey boy.   You DON'T look like a cow Nora.
